If you sign in using third-party providers such as Google or Apple, we may receive basic account information such as your name, email address, profile image, and authentication identifiers.

If you contact support, we may receive your name, email address, message content, screenshots, attachments, and other information you choose to provide.

Spendsei may store and sync data using cloud infrastructure, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, and related services.

Cloud sync helps your data persist when you reinstall the app, switch devices, restore purchases, or participate in shared groups.

Uploaded media, including receipt images, group images, chat images, videos, voice notes, and sticker-related content, may be stored in cloud storage when needed to provide app functionality.

Cloud services may experience interruptions, delays, or sync issues, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect synchronization at all times.

When you use group, split bill, chat, poll, sticker, or collaboration features, certain information may be visible to other participants in that group.

Shared information may include names, profile images, expenses, balances, item assignments, payment status, messages, reactions, polls, media, voice notes, stickers, and group activity.

You should only share information within groups you trust.

Spendsei is not responsible for disputes between users regarding shared expenses, reimbursements, settlements, messages, or group activity.

Spendsei processes receipt images, extracted text, totals, items, taxes, tips, categories, currencies, budgets, recurring bills, and expense history to provide financial tracking features.

Receipt scanning uses optical character recognition (OCR) and automated parsing, which may produce inaccurate or incomplete results.

You are responsible for reviewing and correcting receipt, expense, split, and budget information before relying on it.

Currency conversions may be displayed for convenience and are estimates only. Actual exchange rates, fees, and payment amounts may differ.

Spendsei may provide AI-powered features such as receipt parsing, spending insights, summaries, budget recommendations, financial commentary, AI roasts, and voice-generated content.

Information you submit or generate in the app may be processed by AI systems or AI service providers when needed to provide these features.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, delayed, or unavailable.

AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not financial, tax, legal, accounting, or professional advice.

Spendsei may collect and process limited purchase status information to determine whether your account has access to free or paid features, including Spendsei Pro.

Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing details are handled by Apple or the applicable app store provider.

Spendsei does not directly receive or store your full payment card number from Apple App Store purchases.

Spendsei may send push notifications related to expenses, split groups, reminders, chats, reactions, polls, stickers, account activity, subscription status, app updates, and product announcements.

You can manage or disable push notifications through your device settings.

We may use analytics, diagnostics, and crash reporting tools to understand app performance, identify bugs, improve stability, and make Spendsei easier to use.

Crash logs and diagnostics may include technical information about your device, app state, error messages, and usage patterns around the time of an issue.

Spendsei may use third-party services including Firebase, Google, Apple, OpenAI or other AI providers, analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, notification services, and payment or subscription platforms.

Spendsei may link to third-party apps or services such as Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or other payment-related platforms for convenience.

Spendsei does not process, hold, transfer, or guarantee funds through those external payment platforms.

Your use of external payment platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared with other users only when you choose to use shared features, such as split groups, chats, polls, sticker sharing, or collaborative expense tracking.

Information may be shared with service providers as necessary to operate Spendsei, including cloud storage, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, AI processing, notifications, subscriptions, and customer support.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security needs, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Spendsei, users, or others.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide Spendsei, maintain your account, support shared features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the service.

Some data may remain in backups, logs, analytics, or records for a limited period after deletion.

Shared content may remain visible to other group participants if it was part of a shared group, chat, or collaborative feature before deletion, unless the app provides a way to remove it.

Spendsei is not intended for users under 13.
